The music of Nuage Magique develops from the concentration on musical performance and physical effort: a demonstration of strength and energy through exersising, improvisation and repetition. Vocal and instrumental pieces alternate and involve amplified fitness machines. The lyrics are inspired by interviews with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In seinen Improvisationen genießt Ivann Cruz es, verschiedene Genres (Jazz, Rock, Noise, Minimalismus, elektronische Musik, Pop …) zu mischen während er an Klangfarbe und Klangraum arbeitet. Hände und Füsse, die spezielle Effektpedale bedienen, werden unzertrennlich und entwickeln ein Spiel mit der Perspektive durch mehr oder weniger kontrollierte instrumentale Gesten und Brüche.
In his improvisations Ivann Cruz enjoys mixing different languages (jazz, rock, noise, minimalism, electronic music, pop …) while working on timbre and sound space. Hands and feet that use special effect pedals become inseparable and develop a game with the perspective through more or less controlled instrumental gestures and ruptures.

Followers of an unstable and intuitive music, Francesco Rees and Christophe Imbs created Chip, based on an electric and electronic instrumentation. Between uncluttered writing and improvised textures, their music builds itself motives without safety net, in an entanglement of recollections of minimalism and techno music.

BRIBES 4 ist eine Erweiterung des Duos BRIBES. Basierend auf den Kompositionen von Romain Clerc-Renaud und Geoffroy Gesser erfindet das Quartett die Klanglandschaften in der Zusammenarbeit mit Sängerin Isabel Sörling und Schlagzeuger Yann Joussein neu. Sie stürzen uns in geschmeidige und elektrifizierte Töne, die zwischen intensiven Splittern und Unbeweglichkeit oszillieren.
BRIBES 4 is an extension of the duo BRIBES. Based on the compositions of Romain Clerc-Renaud and Geoffroy Gesser, the quartet invents the soundscapes in collaboration with singer Isabel Sörling and drummer Yann Joussein. They plunge us into supple and electrified sounds that oscillate between intense shards and immobility.

The music is generous and without frills, sober and delicate. Each instrument poses for us in the purity of its nakedness. The discourse is woven into a complicit dialogue, reconciles opposites without seeking to solve them, freed from the constraints of role and style. Ekko invents a folklore and its own freedoms for a journey towards a free, deep and luminous music.

Statt mit Contrepoint Étendu – wie bisher angekündigt – spielt Benjamin Sanz solo. Er ist Schlagzeuger und Komponist, beeinflusst von Jazz und afrikanischen Musikformen und arbeitet an diversen Projekten, die improvisierte, gesetzte und elektronische Musik verschmelzen und verschiedene kulturelle und kompositorische Stile aus dem Jazz verbinden.
Instead of Contrepoint Étendu – as announced so far – Benjamin Sanz plays solo. He is a drummer and composer, influenced by jazz and African musical forms, working on various projects that fuse improvised, scored and electronic music, and combine different cultural and compositional styles from jazz.

Als langjährige musikalische Partner in unterschiedlichen Projekten haben Alexandre Herer und Julien Pontvianne einen gemeinsamen Ansatz für Jazz, von der Improvisation bis zur Klangmaterie oder sogar der Rolle des Musikers. Als Duo erleben sie die totale Freiheit und variieren zwischen zeitgenössischem Jazz, zeitgenössischer Klassik und mehr originale Kompositionen und Cover, mit oder ohne Effekte, akustisch oder verstärkt.

Elodie Pasquier creates a heartbreaking space only with clarinets. Her music tells a lonely epic from the collective experiences with nature: forest, waterfalls and sun winds. A jump in the air with the uncertainty of the dizziness.

Die Musik von Fish From Hell ist inspiriert von Moby Dick und wurde ursprünglich für das Musiktheaterstück „Moby Dick Wanted!“ Von „Les Mécaniques Célibataires“ geschrieben und aufgeführt. Die akustische Improvisation legt Wert auf die Textur-Klangarbeit, ohne dabei illustrativ zu werden – gefüttert durch Ozeane, Naturkräfte, Arbeit, Rebellion, Wahnsinn, Einsamkeit, Chaos und menschliche Wildheit.
Fish From Hell’s music is inspired by the Moby Dick story, originally written and performed for the musical theater piece “Moby Dick Wanted !” by “Les Mécaniques Célibataires”. The acoustic improvisation puts the importance on the textural sound work without falling in illustration – fed by oceans, natural forces, work, rebellion, madness, loneliness, chaos and human wildness.
