As the mind takes us in a trip of peace and joy, struggle and ambivalence, we lose our consciousness and go crazy over the limit, far from all that is known. Thoughts to discover and moments to remember, some of them are strange and unfamiliar, still reaching elsewhere meaningful and extraordinary.
Started last year in Bremen, Germany. Aiming to establish a space, where creative experiences are present through different activities, that handle the Syrian reality, struggle and hope. In cooperation with many groups and collectives, who were active during the Syrian uprising and also after that in exile. As well as networking with local political and social-cultural organisations, with the intend to support ongoing developments which encourage subculture and intercultural exchange. The focus is nevertheless on Syrian alternative and underground music scene. In its second edition, Junoon invites you to explore independent art and music, presenting exhibitions, films, visual arts, workshops, concerts, and DJ Sets.
