Mensch, Ort, Zeit“ untersucht, wie sich unsere Wahrnehmung verändert, wenn sich eines dieser Elemente – Mensch, Ort oder Zeit – verschiebt. Schon ein kaum merklicher Unterschied genügt, und das Vertraute wird fremd, das Gegenwärtige neu erfahrbar. Die Ausstellung betrachtet diese feinen Verschiebungen als Ausgangspunkt: Momente, in denen Begegnungen, Erinnerungen oder Räume ihre Bedeutung verändern…

Nach den tödlichen Schüssen auf Lorenz A. in Oldenburg geisterte schnell die Einzelfall-Theorie durch die Medien.
Filmemacher Hubertus Koch entschloss sich, diese zu hinterfragen. Herausgekommen ist eine 60-minütige Dokumentation, die sechs Fälle tödlicher Polizeigewalt und Bremen und Niedersachsen untersucht und strukturelle Gemeinsamkeiten herausarbeitet. Angehörige, Hinterbliebene und Jurist*innen teilen ihre Perspektive, außerdem erzählen sieben Polizeibeamt*innen anonym aus dem Inneren des Polizeibetriebs und lassen tief blicken.

The work of Jisu Kim, Nicolas Rausch and Ul Seo asks if the concept of universality is still valid.
Concepts are ultimately the result of human actions. It is not surprising that they have the potential to change. Through this exhibition, the artists aim to show that the concept of practical universality already holds that potential and that an inherent dynamism is latent within it.
