Since December the queer refugee (post-)migrant BIPoC initiative „Queeraspora“ and the „Queer narratives, mapped“ working group have been working in the collaborative project „Queeraspora Collective Mappings“ on a digital map and a printed brochure with mental maps drawn by members of „Queeraspora“ in a joint working session at the end of last year.
The digital map documents actions, interventions and events of Queeraspora since 2016, while the printed maps show places, reference points and paths in the city. From the personal perspectives and views of Bremen – and references beyond – a common view of the city develops at the same time.
After countless intensive online meetings and work sessions, the brochure is now in print.
„Queeraspora“ and „Queer narratives, mapped“ are looking forward to presenting the results of this project to you in an online chat on Monday, 22 February at 7 pm.

Seit Dezember arbeiten die Initiative „Queeraspora“ für queere Geflüchtete, (Post)Migrant*innen und BIPoC und die Arbeitsgruppe „Queer narratives, mapped“ in dem kollaborativen Projekt „Queeraspora Collective Mappings“ an einer digitalen Karte und einer Printbroschüre mit Mental Maps, die Ende des letzten Jahres von Mitgliedern von „Queeraspora“ in einer gemeinsamen Arbeits-Session gezeichnet wurden.
Die digitale Karte dokumentiert Aktionen, Interventionen und Veranstaltungen von Queeraspora seit 2016. Die Printed Maps zeigen Orte, Bezugspunkte und Wege in der Stadt. Aus den persönlichen Perspektiven und Sichtweisen auf Bremen – und Bezüge darüberhinaus – entwickelt sich gleichzeitig ein gemeinsamer Blick auf die Stadt.
Nach unzähligen intensiven Online-Meetings und Arbeits-Sessions ist die Broschüre im Druck.
„Queeraspora“ und „Queer narratives, mapped“ freuen sich darauf, Euch die Ergebnisse dieser Projektarbeit am Montag, 22. Februar um 19 Uhr in einem Online-Chat zu präsentieren.

„Queeraspora Collective Mappings“ is a collaboration by Queeraspora, the Queer narratives, mapped working group and city/data/explosion.
Queer narratives, mapped was initiated by city/data/explosion as an effort to think and work about the visibility of stories – past, presents and futures – of LGBTIQ+ in urban contexts by using and reflecting digital tools.
The project is hosted by kunst- und kulturverein spedition e.V.
