SOAPSTONE
The workshop is about carving soapstone into different forms. Without applying too much energy, you can shape the soapstone. By using materials like file and sandpaper, you can turn the soapstone into a ring, a sculpture, depending on your ideas.
The idea is not to create any masterpiece, just to have fun and try out the material. Everyone is welcome to create their own piece of art.
Modou will facilitate the workshop. Modou got to know speckstein a small while ago when attending himself a workshop. Since ever, Modou is a painter and carpenter. He loves to do arts and share it with people.
SPECKSTEIN
Im Workshop geht es um Speckstein. Das ist ein Material, das leicht zu bearbeiten ist. Mit Feile und Sandpapier kann der Speckstein in Form gebracht werden. Je nach Vorstellung, kannst du den Speckstein so in einen Ring, eine Skulptur oder Ähnliches verwandeln.
Die Idee besteht nicht darin, ein Meisterwerk zu schaffen, sondern einfach Spaß zu haben und das Material auszuprobieren. Jede*r ist willkommen, ein eigenes Kunstwerk zu gestalten.
Modou wird den Workshop anleiten. Modou lernte Speckstein vor einer kleinen Weile kennen, als er selbst an einem Workshop teilnahm. Seit jeher ist Modou Maler und Schreiner. Er liebt es, Kunst zu machen und sie mit Menschen zu teilen.
PIERRE A SAVON
L’atelier consiste à sculpter la pierre à savon sous différentes formes. Sans appliquer trop d’énergie, vous pouvez façonner la pierre à savon. En utilisant de matériaux comme la lime et le papier de verre, vous pouvez transformer la pierre à savon en un anneau, une sculpture, ou ce qui vous plait.
L’idée n’est pas de créer un grand œuvre d‘art, mais juste de s’amuser et d’essayer de travailler avec le matériau. Chacune est invitée à créer une pièce personelle.
Modou va guider l’atelier. Modou a connu la pierre à savon il y a peu de temps en participant lui-même à un atelier. Depuis longtemps, Modou est peintre et menuisier. Il aime faire de l’art et le partager avec les gens.
